At Tararua Heliwork our experienced team are always on standby to help fight fires.  All of our pilots hold relevant qualifications and train regularly with other local fire services to ensure that their skills and information are always up to date.  We are a Fire & Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) approved operator.

Having the ability to fight fires from the air is often the safest option allowing water to reach the exact location without having a large number of crew on the ground.  Monsoon buckets can be a vital tool when unforgiving terrain makes it difficult to get water to the fire.
